Taiwanese-American cellist, Judy Kang, launched her career with a performance for world-renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, when he visited her hometown of Taipei, Taiwan as a part of his Worldwide Master Tour. Kang’s reputation earned her a full scholarship at the USC Thornton School of Music, where she became the first musician in USC history to earn a double degree  in both cello and piano performance.

Kang is now the resident cellist for Celine Dion. She has become an active performer throughout the U.S. and Asia. Kang’s musical collaborations range from classical, orchestral, chamber music, pop music, as well as TV commercials, video game music and movie recordings. 

Kang has performed under the baton of John Williams and has shared the stage and recorded with the likes of Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Demi Lovato, David Foster, Michael McDonald, Sarah McLachlan, Florence and the Machine, ‪‎Richard Marx, ‎Eric Benet, ‎Kenny Loggins, Rachel Platten, Carly Rae Jepsen, Andrea Bocelli and Earth Wind & Fire. Judy has also performed with world-renowned cellists Mischa Maisky, Steven Isserlis, Ralph Kirshbaum, and Lynn Harrell. 

Kang often appears on camera as a featured cellist for American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Access Hollywood, ABC's Good Morning America, Latin Grammys Award and Fox Television’s hit shows “GLEE” and “The GLEE Project.”

Venus Event Design Wedding Planning and Design


Venus Event Design owner, Hana Malek, comes from a family of artists in a variety of mediums such as illustrators, web designers, gourmet chefs, performers, and interior designers. Her creativity has always been evident as a young child winning awards in illustrations and as an adult when she took on a complete renovation of her first condo. Design, style, and creativity come to her naturally and is engraved in her everyday life.

It wasn’t until after working as a registered nurse for over a decade that Hana decided to take her passion for creativity into the event industry. Working as a Neuro/Trauma intensive care nurse is challenging and extremely rewarding. The ability to stay calm in a stressful situation and make quick decisions is a trait that comes in handy both in the medical field and in the event industry. “Helping people is what I have always loved to do. Now I’m taking it to a new arena.”

Hana’s experience is vast and diverse, having worked with the top caterers and florists in Los Angeles. She has also volunteered her time in the production of multiple events from private celebrity parties, to dinners for over 150 people, weddings, and corporate events.

Hana’s love for design, attention to detail and goal to bring your vision into reality will make your event not only memorable but special in it’s own way.

When I started my photography business in 2007, I had no idea how much it would change my life. At the time, I really enjoyed taking photos; it was my escape from intense study nights at the library, For so long I thought that I wanted to become a doctor, but as fate had it, I ended up becoming a wedding photographer! It seemed as though every time I tried to take a step forward in the medical field, a photography opportunity would land in my lap, and I went for it. Becoming a full time wedding photographer is the best decision that I've ever made. When you genuinely love what you do, you really never work a day in your life!

I absolutely adore all of my clients! I believe that having a connection which each of them is what makes my job so amazing, and what helps create real and raw photographs because I am capturing the love of two people that I have gotten to know!

The beautiful open beam ceiling, wooden pews (which seat 100 guests), stained glass windows and stunning alter, combine to make your special day memorable.  An experienced wedding coordinator is on staff to make sure your wedding event goes smoothly.
